Philadelphia is about to host one of the biggest sporting events in the world during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and we wanted to create something that felt true to the city and the people who make it special. 📍 So we built the Philly Pub Cup. A city wide pub trivia tournament designed to bring bars, neighborhoods, and communities together throughout the World Cup. Here’s how it works 👇 🍺 Bars across Philadelphia will host qualifying trivia nights during the World Cup. 🧠 Teams compete at their home bar for a chance to advance into the Philly Pub Cup knockout stages, inspired by the format and intensity of the World Cup itself. 🏆 The winning team from each bar will move on to represent their venue against champions from across the city. 👕 Every participating bar’ winning team will receive a custom @icarusfootball jersey designed specifically for their venue, giving each community something to rally behind all tournament long. ⚽️ Following each round of trivia the host venue will transform into a World Cup watch party. Come for the trivia and stay for the match.
